I AM ENTITLED TO MIRACLES
by Nadia Insall
Show me all!
Tell me all!
Bring me the news…
Of miracles! Of Miracles!
I want tears to well up in my eyes.
As you tell me stories of those who’ve tried.
Tell me the story of someone who…
…despite everything…
…succeeds.
It’s so beautiful
It’s such work of living art
It’s an injection of hope,
Straight to the heart
So show me all!
Tell me all!
Bring me the news…
Of miracles! Of Miracles!
There are miracles happening everywhere
This reality is not as it seems
Miracles are not the stuff of fairy tales,
Alive only in our dreams.
You have a problem?
Allow a miracle to rush in!
Come to your aid…
Show you the way.
There are a myriad of possibilities open to us all
In your mind, you can ask to fly or to fall
And if you choose to do that,
Don’t worry. Never fear.
You never use up your quota,
No one’s counting, no one minds,
Miracles are available all the time.
So…
Bring me the news!
Tell me all! Tell me all!
I’m waiting
Anticipating
Eyes open wide
I’m waiting for news from the other side…
Bring on the fights or the wars – and tell me all about
how the peace was won
Bring on the addictions – and tell me how, miraculously,
they were overcome
Bring on disasters – and share the tales of who survived
And bring on the criminals – and tell me how they
changed their lives
And tell me…of sickness and disease – and how
health and vitality came to be
Bring on the miracles!
Tell me…
And better yet…show me.
Show me: how someone’s life can be
If they see miracles as part of their reality.
Why?
Because…
That can be me.
That can be me.
